Emotional Authority
Emotional Authority is the most common Inner Authority and can be found in Manifestors, Generators, Manifesting Generators, or Projectors. Roughly 50% of the population has this as their Inner Authority.
Because emotions rise and fall in waves, this Authority cannot trust a single snapshot in time to make a big decision. If someone with this Authority feels low in their wave, they may let great opportunities pass them by, and conversely, if they feel high in their wave, they may say yes to things they later regret.
Emotional Authorities need to take time to make decisions. The bigger the decision, the longer they need to wait. Only through waiting and feeling through their entire wave can they gain clarity on a big decision.
As they wait out their wave, they should be checking in to see what it would feel like to say yes or no to what they are waiting for clarity about. It’s important to note that this Authority will never have 100% clarity, and likely, at best, it will be around 65% certainty. The more they practice using their Authority to guide them, the more they will know how they feel a yes versus no. Ideally, as they wait through their wave, they do not decide until they are in the middle of the wave, where it is not highly emotionally charged.
There are a few different wave types that a person with Emotional Authority may experience–Tribal, Individual, or Collective. A person with Emotional Authority may have just one of these wave types or all three that affect their decision-making.
Tribal Waves have a theme of need and define Channels 37-40, 19-49.
These tribal waves have a ratchet quality and ratchet up a notch at a time until they either reach clarity or explode, where the wave resets and then begins again. How quickly a person moves through this process is unique to them.
Individual Waves have a theme of passion and define Channels 12-22 and 39-55.
These waves appear more stable, spend more time in the middle of the wave, and then have sudden spikes up or down. These spikes are more sudden and can feel more intense and unpredictable than the other waves. However, a person does not spend as much time in those highs or lows as in other waves.
Collective Waves have a theme of desire and define Channels 36-35 and 41-30.
These waves have a slower build-up and then an abrupt crash before beginning to build again. Once this wave crashes, it spends some time in the low of the wave before building again.
These Collective waves are built on expectations that are often perceived rather than promised and can have a fair amount of fantasy in the channels. Practicing entering into something just for the experience rather than with expectations can be grounding for this wave type.
The Source Wave is Channel 59-6 and is relatively stable and can seem barely there unless in intimate interactions around whether to bond or not or where family is involved.
If you have Emotional Authority, consider tracking your mood daily to notice how your wave operates. Track on a scale of -10 to +10 on your calendar how long they last and what they feel like. If you have more than one type of wave, it can make tracking them a bit more challenging, but it’s still a good experiment to try and see what you notice.
